After being nearly eradicated, measles is back. When I wrote this on March 19, 2025, the CDC reported 301 cases in the United States in 15 states. Further, there have been two deaths. The news about this outbreak is devastating. We can do our part by getting vaccinated if we can. When you get vaccinated, you are protecting yourself and those around you who cannot get vaccinated. This is herd immunity.

I was honored to work with the Southern Plains Tribal Health Board on a herd immunity vaccination campaign. The images on this blog are from that campaign. We are working on a couple more, so stay tuned! :)
